Our Story

Since 2009 our main priority at Adom African Market was to give customers the same food and products we used to enjoy back home. We opened believing the african community deserved to feel comfortable even though we are so far away from home.  Adom African Market is a store based out of kumasi, Ghana that is located in Arlington, Texas.

We sell varieties of African foods & condiments, African fabrics & laces, Hair extensions & human wigs, and Beauty & cosmetics. We are an african market in arlington who sells many different african and carribean products. Many of our customers are people who still want the food they loved from Ghana, in the United States of America. The owner of the African shop, Grace Nortei, main focus is to make sure the customer goes home happy! We try to put ourselves in the shoes of the customer, so we wouldn’t want any of our favorite items to go out of stock, that’s why we be sure to have all our products easily obtainable.

What we sell are african foods and clothes like, Fufu powder mix, African Yam, Milo, Nido, plantain chips, and many more. We also have ways for you to stay connected with your family and friends back home with products such as Boss Revolution, My Country Ghana and Nigeria, My Love Africa, and many different phone cards. We even have household favorites like the weight gaining supplement Apetamin, for those who struggle with putting on those extra calories.
